Makes total sense. That’s why European immigration numbers to the US far outweigh Americans moving to Europe.

I'd rather live in the US where there's not a killer assault van running people down multiple times a day.

America’s demographics play a large part in why our society is the way it is today. You look at countries like Norway, Denmark, Japan, etc (homogeneous populations) and you see pure efficiency and enginuity everywhere. This “Melting-Pot” theory simply isn’t the utopia that progressives try to promote. 25 different cultures hating and opposing one another is somehow supposed to be a good thing?
America was quite the mecca for a time post WW2. Detroit, Cleveland, Flint, Pittsburgh, Columbus, and various upstate NY cities were steel/manufacturing/logistics hubs and the entire country was thriving. The average family could live on the father’s salary alone. Kids could go to good schools and mommy could stay at home. The country had lots of money. What did we do? Pass a shitload of unsustainable entitlement programs, effectively draining our reserve and throwing us into debt. A lot of people throw the Iraq/Afghan wars as the main reason we’re in debt but if it wasn’t for entitlements we could have paid cash for those wars. Combine the unsustainable entitlement programs with about 20% of the American population that absolutely refuses to assimilate; and the crime, court, criminal Justice, rehabilitation, etc costs that go along with such...
Toss on a shitload of illegal immigration and that’s why we aren’t Europe.

The food
This much is true for western Europe (minus the UK). The food here is loaded with preservatives that they don't use as much over there. The down side is that you are going to the shop to buy only a day or two worth of food at a time or it goes bad.
Eta: the US has much wider variety however.

Pretty much this, Europe is super nice but this is just an a-hole

You're way more likely to be robbed, raped, or murdered by some young urban scholar on his way back from midnight basketball than you are to be the victim of a terrorist attack

Lived in both. Prefer good ole America.

America and it's people fricking suck, but most are too ignorant or not well traveled enough to have any inkling that is the case

It sounds like you need to move to Europe.

You can control that in the US. Just dont go into bad neighborhoods. You cant control where an assault van will crash into you on the Manchester bridge

You got this right, Americans work much harder than Europeans.

Listen snow flake, I cooked and served a rear- deer roast to my young kids, wife, new baby’s paran and his wife last night.
This deer was shot and cleaned by me in Louisiana in public land.
I seasoned with salt and pepper then seared at 500 degrees and removed at 125 degrees internal temp.
We then had sword and pillow fights with three of my kids.
no country can touch us.

One thing Europe has had until recently is relative homogeneous culture within countries. That's quickly changing.
Yup. And that’s the reason they had all this wonderful, distinct culture. French wines and German engineering and Italian food and Swiss watches...
Now they’ll be “culturally enriched”
At current breeding rates, Europe as we knew it won’t last 25 years
