Umm who cares?!!? No one in Detroit that wants to go to Mardi Gras is picking mobile over NOLA.
Wife: Hmmm...let’s take a trip honey. I really want to go to Mardi Gras.
Husband: me too! Let’s go to Nola
Wife: well mobile is the first place to have Mardi Gras scrap NOLA

There are people who come from other states to Mobile for Mardi Gras but it’s very few. This is city is meh as frick.

They don't. The only people who take offense to that are people who don't live in NOLA. Same concept as northeastern white liberals betting upset about the Florida Seminole name despite the actual Seminole tribe approving of it.
