Mobile's Mardi Gras is on a much smaller scale and extremely family friendly.
Baton Rouge has a bigger Mardi Gras celebration than mobile does.

NOLA and Louisiana people are weird AF.
They shite on the city all the time as a crime ridden cesspool that nobody wants to live in but as soon as somebody mentions a party or large event it's "OH MY GOD NOLA IS THE BEST PARTY CITY EVER AND EVERY SINGLE IMPORTANT EVENT SHOULD BE AT THE SUPERDOME!!!"

I use to live in Mobile and every time I passed the Civic Center with a sign out front that read 'Birthplace of Mardi Gras," I'd laugh.

Spanish Town is the only fun parade in BR but I haven’t been in years bc it’s on the same day as Endemyion.
