Half is the chicory of the Community Coffee plant. The other half is the wood they soak to make charcoal in the big round tank thing by the bridge. I think it's strongest in the mornings around 5:30

Yup. You just loop around under the interstate and drive right on through. Follow the red signs and the yellow lines. It's super easy and super awesome. You just drive up (usually not much of a line at all. I don't think many non-employees know about it.)
Lean out the window and pull the lever and fill your cup, then drive away. Only thing is that they only have dark roast. And if you want sugar or cream or anything you'll have to bring your own.
There's a donation bucket there if you want to leave something. Pretty sure it goes to whatever people collect the proof-of-purchases for.
It's unmanned but I've always had great, fresh tasting coffee from there. I'm sure there is an automated brewer or something in the little building.
