This as well. It's pretty convenient to portray your enemy as the most evil ever when you waged an absolutely brutal air campaign against all forms of targets in route to victory and, oh btw, also allied with one of the 20th centuries most brutal and oppressive regimes in the process; an alliance in which your actions directly aided in that state becoming one of the two most powerful on Earth and absorbing all of the Eastern nations whose sovereignty and freedom was ostensibly the entire reason for war with Germany in the first place.

A lot of Stalin's crimes came out much later, as by winning, he was able to maintain control of what information got out.Even post Stalin the Russians denied everything till later on. With Hitler, as the camps were being liberated by various different allies, word of the atrocities got out immediately at war's end. Videos were released showing the camps & what all had happened there. There were never any videos of what happened in Siberia, let alone the starvation of the Ukraines in the mid/late 30's. Pictures speak a 1000002 words. There are literally 1000's of pictures of Hitler's crimes. In comparison, very little to none of Stalin's.

Nazis filmed EVERYTHING and we captured many of their records. Commies had an iron curtain. We couldn't see much of anything.

Stalin killed millions of his own countrymen behind the Iron Curtain.
While Hitler's atrocities were exposed in all their horrific glory for the entire world to see via pictures and video as the war wound down, Stalin was able to keep his fairly undocumented (at least not as well documented as what we saw in the German concentration camps) until the USSR fell apart.

Cause we have commies running our schools and they refuse to let their comrades look bad. Also, who does Mao never get thrown into these questions? He killed more than Hitler and Stalin.

Good point. I'll bet if you went to any college campus 90%+ of the students could tell you how and why Hitler is the most evil person ever. Around 10% might be able to tell you who Stalin was but they'd have no idea he ever killed anyone. As for Mao, I'd be shocked if more than about 3% had ever heard of him.
