Been pressure washing my fence and painting.

I'd say it's more of a job than mine in IT.

Do no want.

shoutout to baws that are actually working for their money.

Lmao! I love people like you. You literally have no clue, yet you offer doubt. Let me ask, what is my motivation to lie?

I make pretty good side cash pressure washing, I can be as busy as I want to with it on the weekends and this is just from word of mouth advertising around town. I wouldn't want to do it full time but if I had to I could probably pay my bills.

We subcontract pressure washing and we have some jobs that pay $7-8K for a week of work and we have these jobs pretty much weekly throughout the year.

I can only imaging our pressure washing baw makes a pretty good salary. It’s just him and his 20 year old son.

To do commercial you have to get permits and capture runoff.

I think you're missing the ability to process complex business decisions and data sets. Your boss should demote you.

They can do it while high... which is why they don’t have a real job in the first place- they can’t stop getting high

In Louisiana catching the runoff is not necessary. But they do use a second man on a second hose that only has fresh water and no chemicals. This is to wash the trees and small plants off during and at completion. Afterwards use something like plant wash to help plants as well. May have to replace a flowering plant here and there but not often.

Hey baw, if you’re pressure washing my house and roof and you damage something you better have insurance to cover the repairs.

GL for a pressure washing business would be maybe $2k per year. Not worth the risk of not having it.

You think those baws are forming an LLC and paying for insurance if they aren’t paying taxes?

No, but they will wish they had once they get drug into small claims court or something.

Of course, the old saying of "you can't squeeze blood out of a turnip" comes to mind as well.

It amazes me that with all of the weather and fraud Louisiana has seen as a result of it the last 15 years homeowners are still willing to hire Joe Bob uninsured "contractor" working out of his 23 year old Chevy.

It allows the Louisiana State Licensing Board for Contractors to enact more control that only benefits the big guys as a result.
