Hey OP, guess what? I'm from New Orleans. Thought you might care to know that.

BR > NOLA

Half of BR is fine and has little crime. The other half doesn’t matter. Traffic yes. Not nearly as many potholes as NOLA

It’s also recognized for the murder capital of the US multiple years in the last decade, an absolute joke of a government, a depleting financial structure, the most crooked and depleted law enforcement agencies in the south. Does DOTD exist? I could go on. I’m guessing you live in NOLA. Wake the frick up

None of us like that shite either..and those aren't the reasons why we love New Orleans.

I find the whole ATL and NOLA thing to be silly since they're completely different cities in completely different regions with completely different cultures.

I do have to ask why there's such a competition between BR and NOLA though. It's funny to watch. I just don't get it. Most LSU alums are Saints fans. A ton of Saints fans went to LSU and live/have lived in BR. It's an interesting dynamic.

If you want real entertainment, go to saints talk or tiger rant and start a thread asking why they don't draft lsu players to the Saints.

I never bring it up, but if asked what should I do?
I only ask where people are from if their accent/way of speaking peaks my interest.

Saw a guy from Detroit try to saw that while in New Orleans.."my Detroit may kick in if it goes down", as if it holds merit.

I think I'll pass. Sounds like something that wouldn't go over well.

There are only three cities in America: New York, San Francisco, and New Orleans. Everywhere else is Cleveland.
