We encountered one of our best breakfasts ever in Cyprus, not sure if it was typical Cyrpriot food or just this chef's invention. Rice with a red pepper tomato type sauce, topped with a poached egg. Mixed together it tasted a lot like ettouffee. Delicious.
You gotta be in the mood for German breakfast. And when they start bringing the muesli and yogurt or the formed gelatinous meat stuff? Hard pass.

The "American" breakfast in Japanese hotels is most disgusting. Eggs,bacon etc is always runny, under cooked, sitting in hot water.

Other countries suck, and not just b/c of breakfast food.
Visit them, look at their historical sites, make fun of their smelly people and broken political system, and then return to the good ol' U.S. of A.

I'm all over the ham, bread, jam and cucumbers. That shits good, and relatively healthy too.
In Sweden you'll have some toast, butter it, put ham on top with sliced hard boiled egg, then squeeze some kaviar paste on top.

Clearly you've never had Mexican breakfast. Chilaquiles.. huevos rancheros.. migas.. etc.
I'm obsessed with Mexican breakfast.
Portugal looks good too.
In Thailand, Japan, China, etc., they eat really awesome soups for breakfast. A good bowl of pho in the morning is hard to beat.
Don't get me wrong. I love American breakfast. But breakfast in other countries doesn't always "suck".
