I genuinely want to understand. I won’t argue / reply to any responses given

Because Stone Cold says so!!
Posted on 10/6/21 at 4:56 pm to weagle99
I mean where should I really even start

Have you driven beast mode in a Tesla ?

There's a need for it but for the country to go all-electric is ridiculous at this point of time.
Posted on 10/6/21 at 4:58 pm to weagle99
Because it's easier than pushing them.

I think in the future we will look back on cities and wonder how people lived in such deplorable smog filled conditions. EV's help reduce that which will greatly improve our health.
Also, if they are built well enough (like teslas), fully electric vehicles can last soooo much longer than a combustible engine. They are just generally a better product

I want people that want electric vehicles to drive electric vehicles.
I want to be able to drive what I want to drive.

We shouldn’t unless you want to.

Well, for one they are super quiet and makes my escape from various crime scenes go undetected.
Also, it helps me pick up chicks with hairy armpits, tattoos and bonnets. A little secret fetish.

Posted on 10/6/21 at 5:09 pm to weagle99
The simple fact that they are quiet is a good enough reason for me

Because the electricity used to power it can be made at home on your roof.
That’s the long play goal.
I liked this video about looking at electricity as a super efficient form of energy. So much less heat waste in electricity storage and transfer than combustion. YouTube
My wife drives a Tesla. I still have gas vehicles for work that are definitely more convenient for long haul trips too.
But, If all things were equal in cost and convenience, why wouldn’t you pick electric?
If there were super chargers on every block, with battery tanks the size of the gas tanks at convenience stores. If the power came from solar or coal, it doesn’t matter. The first step is getting you driving something that will take the electricity made by either.

Energy is energy. Until the illiberal statists get that concept we are wasting time.
