Fundamentally, I think women want a man that makes them feel safe. That means he's strong, confident, and competent. That means he's dangerous. So if her choice is the dangerous a-hole who she might be able to tame or the weak "nice guy" who'd never hurt a fly, chances are she'll be more attracted to the a-hole.

You can be a gentleman and still have a spine. The problem is a lot of guys now are just sniveling little shits who will roll over on their backs and pee on themselves if a girl pays them attention. Most women want to be in a relationship with a man that they can respect, and it's hard to respect a subservient little bitch.

The hotter the woman, the easier it is for them to get attention. The problem is that when a woman is used to getting a certain level of positive attention from everyone and then some a-hole comes along.

a couple hundred million to be financially secure? Making a couple hundred thousand in late 20s or 30s might as well be that much.
I guess some people don’t understand how lavish of a lifestyle a single guy making $200k+ can live in almost any city.

When picking out a horse to ride, most pick the easy horse for their first go around, but then that becomes stale, and then it’s the wild horse that they really want, because the ride is more interesting, and it’s unattainable. Same goes for women and men. Nice guys are their buddies.
