The quick, easy, and all you need to know is subdivisions and neighborhoods are 2 different things.

I live in a neighborhood that isn't a subdivision. Go think about that one for a while genius.

I refer to my sub-Div as my neighborhood because it just seems less snobbish to call it "neighborhood".

If I went around talking about my "sub-division" it would sound to me like I'm trying to brag about living in my sub-division.

I'd argue Capital Heights is a neighborhood, but Woodstone is a subdivision.

Isn't that basically the Webster's definition of a "neighborhood"?
