The argument that weed is not any worse than alcohol is bullshite. If you smoke it, you are exposing other people, often against their wishes to it. Drinking a bottle of beer doesn’t get someone else drunk.
You can be pro-weed, but stop using the “it is no different than alcohol” bullshite.
Like everything in this world, personal liberty has responsibilities that are forever attached to it. The old adage remains true. Do as you will as long as it causes no harm to others. IOW, smoke a bowl, but don’t let that have a negative affect on others around you to cause them to have to deal with it. Drink a beer, but don’t allow your drunkenness to cause others to have to endure your out of control behavior. Smoke what you like, but don’t blow it so that everyone else has to inhale it too. Vape on, and the very same applies.
Simple fact of the matter is that people love personal liberty, but they often ignore personal responsibility associated with enjoying their own personal liberty, and that’s when it becomes a problem. If humanity could ever find balance in that, it should be a non issue what other people do or don’t do.
