Weed enhances one's perception of everything, not necessarily in a positive way (if you're depressed with low self-esteem, there's a good chance weed will make you feel like an even bigger POS). If the girl already thought she was a deep thinker or otherwise had an inflated ego, then her thoughts while high probably impressed herself on a profound level.

If you're not dabbing, you're not trying to get high. There is always a better way to do it, a la Crack and Coke or Everclear and Mich Ultra.
