What if it's only at the TV from the comfort of my own home?

Starts in college, just continues. And now there's replays so folks can see what they missed.

It always rained bourbon in the student section when I was at LSU.

Lots of drinks getting thrown around - I left every game smelling like liquor, even though I wasn't drinking it lol. (Beer girl here)

Frickin' Boomers, with their sobriety and good behavior. Why can't they live in their parents' basement and beat off to anime like normal people? WILL THEY EVER LEARN.

big games people may drink more bc of the nervousness and alcohol can numb that

Don’t think any or very few drink with intent of not being able to remember or enjoy the game.

I’d rather sit next to a drunk at a game that has enthusiasm for the game than some blue hairs that sits on their hands, rarely cheers, tells people to sit down, and constantly looks for someone to call security on.

I took my brother to 2009 SEC championship game.

12-0 Bama versus 12-0 Florida.

#1 versus #2.

A play-in game for BCS National Championship.

A Florida fan about 50 years old staggers into upper deck and grabs my arm as he fell down. I was able to break his grip, but he fell down a row or two.

This is well before kickoff. He was blackout drunk and never made it to kickoff.

I rarely remembered the second half of a game when I was in college. 1st fifth went down pretty easy.

Same here. I went to one Auburn game as a student after drinking before the game. Hated it.

Now sitting at a sports bar or at the house and drinking/watching the game is great.

I’m gonna have to agree with you. I don’t want to spend the entire game having to piss so I don’t drink when attending. However, I will and do get trashed at home on game day.
