OK want a bigger sample size? I have a co-worker who nearly lost his wife a few months ago because a US doctor misdiagnosed her and sent her home. My co-worker wasn't satisfied with the diagnosis so he took her to another doctor (Nigerian) who correctly diagnosed her and saved her life. Had the Nigerian doctor not given her the correct treatment it's almost certain she would have died that night. She had a massive amount of fluid buildup in her lungs. How can something like that be missed?

Nutrition means more than healthcare

Here’s a sample size for you. My dad started pissing blood in Costa Rica. Went to the hospital. Told him he was dehydrated. Came home and US doctors found blood clots in his legs and lungs.
What does my one person sample size tell you about the quality of US doctors?

One of our guys had to have an emergency appendectomy in Bogota. The doctor (and his partner,) had both gone to med school in Chicago(Northwesrtern, iirc.) The work was excellent, they even came by his hotel room to check on him until he was able to travel home. The entire bill was less than $500. When he got back to the states the insurance company invoiced almost three grand to remove staples and follow up on him.

Because they have to score high on their SAT's to get into a good school. Oh wait...

How many QUALIFIED doctors do you think we'd have if it paid as much as a teacher? Because that's what would happen if we were to apply your belief system to the healthcare system.
Your take is absurdly naive and ignorant.
So no one should ever complain about schools, because anyone not making 300k gets a pass because everyone not making 300k is perfectly justified in not giving a shite about what they do? "absurd"

You have to be a troll. A convincing one I might add but you can't really be serious in this thread.
8 pages and not a single soul agrees with you yet you still think you're right? Gotta be a troll

'everyone' disagreeing with you is normal for some people. American Idol, top 40 music, 'avengers end game', FOX news, CNN, Washington Post, etc...I don't concern myself with the 'feelings' of the group.

Do you want to see a doctor in a timely manner with a near guarantee they'll fix you?....Don't go to numbers 1-31 then.
Want grandma to get that surgery or new hip without being denied service for her age?....Don't go to numbers 1-31.
Want to save your newborn with a rare condition rather than watch him/her die due to triage policy? ....Don't go to numbers 1-31.

You should go to Monaco or Colombia for your bypass surgery.
