Because America has three cities. New York, San Francisco, and New Orleans. Everywhere else is Cleveland.

i’d imagine it’s similar to when you have that last bowl of cereal even when you know the milk is going bad. it’s a risk, but…
one last visit before it’s completely lost.

The highest crime rate NOLA ever had was from 1989-2004

To be fair the city’s population was much higher in the 90’s.

The remodeled Harrah's is pretty bad arse.

Better food than New Orleans
Mmm no. Lived in both cities and NO>MIA food by a long shot.
The advantage Miami could have is food variety from many countries/fusion.

No way. You’re telling me that a CAT 4 hurricane and a massive flood didn’t force people to move away in the mid 2000’s??

Since when are the OPs for these kinds of threads even remotely interested in being fair?

It’s looking great. The new hotel they are building will be nice as well.

Oh fun - we didn’t go a few weeks ago when we were down there - I’ll put it on my list for the next visit

Caesars has to stay on step bc the Four Seasons right across the street is killing it. But yes, the remodel is looking damn good and the new hotel is going to be very nice

What have you heard about the residences at the Four Seasons?
Someone told me they have shot up in value a lot since opening and the hotel itself is doing much better than they expected it would.

Yeah a-hole. Welcome back, I guess. My point is the murder rate is probably as high on a per capita basis. Run half of the gangsters out of town, and there will be half of the murders.
Edit: Katrina was a three at landfall.
