I have a hard time believing that Idaho, Wyoming and Montana are crazy. Besides, one of the best things about living in those states is the isolation. You can literally avoid all your neighbors and simply enjoy the outdoors.

Because they are really rich or really poor. Cali works out great for both of those groups. No place for the middle class. That’s how Socialism works.

Bullllllshit. Maybe if you want to live in downtown of SF, LA, or San Diego, but this state is fricking massive, and there are plenty of towns to live in that are cheap living and solid destinations for the middle class.

Have you ever been?

It’s perfect weather 300+ days out of the year. Some of the best restaurants in the country. Legal weed. Beautiful women. Wine country is beautiful.

What’s there not to like?

Amen, brother. You can literally spend 4 times as many days outside as you can in Louisiana. The ocean, mountains, and desert are amazing.

they leaving in droves, heading to tejas, 2 turn it purple, then in 10-15 years blue, and when that happens, USA turns into Snowflake and immigrant infested Europe.

Why do people live in California?

Growing up I spent a few of my teen years on the coast in Orange County, walking distance from the beach. That lifestyle can't be beat. Had everything out there. High school had a surf team and a snow-skiing team (Saddleback Mountain).

most disaster proof places to live are inhabited with the most extreme types of crazy. Whether it be ultra liberal or ultra conservative Supremacists. Oregon, Washington, northern Idaho, Wyoming, Montana.

Wrong.

Do me a favor chief. Look up the “Cascadia Subduction Zone” or the “Yellowstone Caldera” and get back to me.

The California experience is so damn varied it's impossible to pin it down to one experience

As far as natural dangers, it's no worse than anywhere else. The biggest issue with Cal IMO is the extremely dense population living in areas that can burn.

It's probably safer than an area that has hurricanes and tornados.

I've generally found that coastal progressives are no different in regards to the South.
