Why do people go to work sick when they don't have to?

This stupid cocksucking motherfricker came into work sick (aches, chills, coughing up a storm) this morning. He is in a position where he didn't have to come in and everything would be fine...plus he could work remotely if he just HAD to do something.

Instead this shitstain is going to cause me to get sick and ruin my vacation I have planned starting on Thursday.

Why are people so fricking dumb?

I had to because my boss told me to come and if I was able to leave later in the day they would let me.

His wife was bitchy on purpose because she wanted him out of the house. She missed Jody.

So annoying. I have one, annoying co-worker that will come by my desk and talk about how sick he is, and cough. ZERO self-awareness. I've had to literally tell him to get the frick away from my desk, and go to the other side of the office before.

If I can spread my illness to my co-workers, they’ll all be home sick when I’ve recovered and I can get some work done with them out of the way.

Not the case in this situation. He could stay home this whole week and not be docked any pay or days. We don't have sick days...we just have a "don't abuse it" policy on sick days.

Some people like getting away from their families. Or they know not much work will actually be done this week.

The best way to get rid of it is to give it away.

Because not everyone with a sniffle or cough is looking for a day off.

I am actually guilty of this, but I am not sure why. I will never go in with fever or anything like that, but If I have a minor cold, I do generally go in for a while to see what is going on around the office.

This Amy be a good new year's resolution for me!

Just as easy to be sick at work as it is at home. He probably wants to use sick days for vacation or personal time days.

I usually go around sneezing on everyone's mouse. Misery loves company. Plus, when they're all out sick and I'm feeling better, the office will be nice and quiet and that fricker Dave won't be around to drink the last cup of coffee and not make a new pot.

frick Dave.

It’s because people would rather save those sick days for calling out when the weather is warmer

Just accept that you will get sick anyway. Maybe not from your "shitstain" co-worker, but you'll get it somehow.

Stop looking for people to blame when you catch a cold. That's what douchebags do.
