you think that's bad...I'm a supervisor at an Autism clinic... these shite parents frequently have kids diagnosed with the flu and things like that.... they dose them them up like hell on motrin and stuff to mask symptoms and send them in knowing they are contagious just because they don't want to deal with them. As a result it usually affects at least half a dozen other kids (some with already compromised immune systems) and a few therapists.

I like to go to work sick at the pharmacy, it’s good for business.

Because he's dedicated and transcends physical discomfort to fulfill his professional obligations in the most efficient way possible?

Working in the food packaging industry we are strict on this and will send people home even salary folks and they can’t go back into production without being released by a doctor. We have personal days allotted each year for this purpose.

Parents can be the worst when it comes to their sick kids. We had a whooping cough outbreak two years ago because some dumb bitch wouldn't keep her kid home when she had it. And she played on the field hockey team so it spread pretty quick. In other schools I've worked in, they send them in just so they don't have to deal with them either.
Our dumbass Governor is considering making teacher and staff sick days unpaid when they go back to session in January. It's insane.

There are two kinds of people at my company. Those who get their sick time ticker to 8 hours, then call in. Perpetually no sick time in the bank. Those are the ones that need to be fard.
Then you have people who have literally thousands of hours of sick time accumulated over the years because they rarely call in. Doesn't seem like there is any benefit to firing those in this category.
I'm rarely sick. Maybe once every two years I get something more than a cold. A little cough or sniff doesn't keep me home. If it's contagious or projectile, I stay home. Otherwise, I'm there and healthy.

I go in sick at the pharmacy because everything you need is already within your reach. Jk. But mainly I do because they give us a hard time when we try calling out sick. Have to be damn near dead before they'll let you off with a sick day unless they find someone fast.
