I got a second to keep my first one company when i wasnt home. And I will always own two from now on. I love having two.

I will always have 2 as well.
And my husband thinks I’m kidding...but will always have a pug as well.
Sometimes I’m tempted to get a third one....then rational thought takes over and I decide against it.

Why do people have multiple kids? Also like others have mentioned, dogs are better than people.

Always had two, but getting old, it's hard on us. After one had passed, we only have one now. The good thing, my neighbor about 1/2 mile away has a GS that comes to the house every morning and plays with my pup. Their dog is twice the size, a bitch, but she lays down to my dog.

I had various breeds of dogs for almost 40 years and, like you, once they were gone, I'm done with them. I'm now 65 and will never own another dog. The hell with picking up dog shite before cutting grass or hosing dog piss off of gates and support pillars because of the stench. I've got better ways to spend my time.
