My nephew and his wife had 2 of them and they were inside dogs. If I went to their house and sat on the sofa, one, or sometimes both of those little ankle snappers would jump up in my lap and immediately turn around to face away from me.

I don't like looking at a dog's a-hole and run the crap out of them.

I had various breeds of dogs for almost 40 years and, like you, once they were gone, I'm done with them. I'm now 65 and will never own another dog. The hell with picking up dog shite before cutting grass or hosing dog piss off of gates and support pillars because of the stench. I've got better ways to spend my time.

I hear you. Never had that problem with my dogs, but then again, I live in the country and my dogs can run free.

I dont hate dogs.

Just asking about the rationale for multiple dogs.

I dont have a dog. I like going on random weekend trips, random stuff after work and having to deal with a dog would complicate that.

When I do something dumb like finally marry a nurse and have kids i will get a dog when my life is more predictable.
