I've always been fascinated with the Yat pronunciation of Calliope as Cal-ee-ope instead of Ca-ly-oh-pee.

I can't stand it, but I tolerate it and try and just simply say that we don't say it like that. I also can't stand the way that morning radio newscaster says Sean Pay-Unnnn.
