I look significantly better with a shaved head than trying to grow out a head full of thin hair. It’s also comfortable as hell. Usually do no guard.

Because God only created a few perfect heads. The rest he covered with hair.

Mine started thinning when I was about 45. I use clippers and cut it short (1.5 guard). I did it because I hate wearing hats, and am outside a lot and wear sunscreen. I dont want to look like a greasy homeless person with sunscreen in my hair.

And there are few things worse than a sunburned head. Especially with a few hairs there and it starts peeling and you look like you have leprosy.

I was probably at 3.5 when I started using clippers with no guard. After a short while I decided to shave it in the shower one day and haven't looked back. I go about 3-4 days between shavings out of laziness, but typically never longer than that unless in middle of long weekend.

Honestly, I like being bald, I didn't at first but now I am into it. Don't get me wrong, if I could have a head full of hair, I more than likely wouldn't shave it, but I like to look, the A/C with just a faint breeze in summer and not having to worry about it for the most part. I would be a straight up #7 if I grew it out now, which in my case would look like an Asian Bozo the clown, not the look I am going for.

I'm still at 1 to 1.5. don't think I'll ever even get to 3 with how thick my hair is. But 3.5 is where the no-guard/razor shave should begin

My question is why do people invest time in trolling online? Is your life that boring?

I've been buzzing my head since 24 when I got tired of trying to cover up my thinning hair. If I was wearing a hat, I felt like I couldn't take it off because hat hair on a balding guy looks terrible. It was always something that is on your mind. It was very freeing to finally go with the buzzed look.

Watching Jordan Spieth when he finishes a round of golf, I feel like I know exactly what he is thinking. As soon as that hat comes off, he's fixing his hair. Then, as soon as he can, the hat goes right back on.

Everyone knows I am going bald. It's so I don't have the hideous side hair thing going on.

Based on that graphic, I'm probably a 3.25 to 3.5 and I've been shaving down to the skin for 10 years.

Once you start doing that, assuming your head shape looks good bald, you'll never going back to having that hot, dirty, sweat/dirt sponge on top of your head.

And, again assuming you don't have a weird shaped head you need hair to camouflage, chicks dig it.

I started shaving mine when I really started hating minorities. it was just a coincidence that my hair was thinning at the same time.

I'm about level three. The hair looks bad from either side, from the back, or from above, no matter how I wear it. The longer it grows, the worse the bald spot shows.

I don't shave it, but I have it cut without a guard all over every two and a half weeks. Use the liquid soap I shower with on it. It's no trouble, and it's cool.

With the exception of a few months here and there, I’ve shaved my hair since high school, not smooth, just trimmers with no guard. Add in the beard and no need to shave, I’m in and out the bathroom in no time at all.
