Why do men give signs that they are gay but lesbians not so much

Gay men speak with a lisp and take portrait photos with their pets, and the like.
Lesbos are harder to spot. Just about anything they do that is gay, straight women can also follow suit.
The lisp thing is a real tell. But why? Why do gay men feel the need to advertise that they are gay but not gay women?

Flaming gays give signs just like flaming lesbos give signs, such as shaved heads and dressing like men with those chain wallets etc.
Most gays and lesbos are hard to spot because they're in the closet or just normal folks not flaunting their sexuality constantly.

Because men are whorish......women are not.
They want to advertise where the female is more into an involved, deeper search. And, maybe because the acceptability of females versus males is somewhat related (i.e. all female activity could be lesbian)
