Curious how they would react if I gave them a wink and a wiggled my tongue ever so slightly before and after tip.
Then I would expect this:
Me barista
Me play joke
Me put wee wee in your coffee

Get married and after a few years you’ll get accustomed to micro-waved left over coffee.

If you want to stop getting the stank-eye from career drive-thru slugs with no hope, stop going through with it hanging out of the bottom of your shorts.

We do that, but we can afford to go to Starbucks. that being said, I have never spent a penny at a Starbucks.
Starbucks drinkers cannot afford Catamarans.

I love sailing Hobie cats.
That’s the first thing I’m buying when I move on the beach.
ETA: oh and a good coffee maker.

Interesting. I closed a Chase acct. and had a $5.00 gift cars to Starbucks I stashed in my wallet. I was flying out if Nassau very early and went to the one in the terminal. They wouldn’t accept the card. Twice I’ve been to Starbucks right there…first & last.

First you need to look into the mirror and ask what are you doing wrong. Maybe you are not but try and reflect on your approach.
I have never really had an issue and I blatantly look like a family man right of center, drug free, a pattern of making the better decisions in life with my stuff together, and being financially and mentally secure. They still treat me well. There are a few isolated situations but I give them grace.
Its partly because I treat them well and are not judging them. I don't agree with them but I still respect them as people. If we were all like that we would be a more unified country.
I have seen the customers that take issue with it and its a whole different experience for them.

Are you a white middle class male? All three of us matter and they hate you for each one.

The Cats I am speaking of, yes. I just found out they make them with 3 bedrooms (cabins) for a little less than a million, after taxes.
I am pretty sure that those wasting money at Starbucks can't get one.

Are you there to get coffee or make friends?

I don't ever have this problem though so sounds like a skill issue. Maybe they don't give me the stink eye because I don't call them "honey". Or maybe they do and I don't care because I have bigger things to care about.

Buy a burr grinder, buy bags of whole beans, grind your own daily. It's easy and not much more expensive than buying ground coffee and much, much cheaper than drive thru.
Jura S8. @ $2600 purchased January 2022
Counter says it has made over 10,000 cups of coffee at let’s say @.40 cents a cup $4000 (average @4.5 cups a day)
Just changed grinder, o-rings, and deep cleaned machine $75
Total in $6575.
10000 cups of drive through at $2 a cup. $20000
Side note.I was having no issues, but I read the grinder should be changed every 5000 cups, so when I checked the count I was surprised. Cleaning and changing out the grinder made a noticeable difference to already great coffee.

I don't remember the last time I ever paid for someone to make me coffee.
Peak laziness is going to Starbucks and paying $7.35 for something you could make at home for 1/15th of the cost.
