Some reading comprehension issues in this thread. People actually think this guy doesn’t know that Catholics are also Christians? 
Gimme a break.
If I asked “Why do Canadians hate Quebec?” would you assume I didn’t know Quebec was part of Canada?...
I would say, though, that most of the disdain from Protestants is directed more towards the Vatican and the overall organization than towards individual Catholics. In the grand scheme of things, Catholics and Protestants agree more than disagree. A Catholic and a Methodist have more in common than a Catholic and a Buddhist.. I think we lose sight of this at times, which is unfortunate.

All I can tell you is to read Dave Armstrong's book, The Catholic Verses, if you're willing to keep an open mind.
Since Jesus instituted the Eucharist at The Last Supper, broke bread, gave it to His Disciples, and said take and eat this, for this is My Body, and is really present in the bread and wine, kind of odd to ask "what He thinks about it."

Extra masses, extra collections, extra money. It's all about the tax free dollars. Pope, Cardinals, Bishops and Priest live a pretty good life.

I'm. Baptist and married a Catholic. Saying that, Catholicism has so many unbiblical beliefs, its hard to take it serious. For instance, the more my wife reads the Bible, the more questions she asks why she was taught this or that, when the Bible says otherwise. I also think, unlike a lot of protestants, that there are a lot of saved Catholics though. In the end, Jesus sees and judges the heart.
Examples of false doctrine:
Prayers to saints/mary
Purgatory
Eucharist becoming actual body and blood
Priest not being able to marry
Sacraments are work based no matter how you spin it
If you care to actually research my stance

I mean, it's either Biblical or its not. An open mind has nothing to do with that, as I obviously do since I married someone who differs than me. Important thing is we both agree that one needs Christ to receive salvation.

Show me where it says the Bible is the totality of Christian teaching. For that matter show me which verse the word "Bible" appears.

I can ask the same thing about the word "trinity", it is simply an applied term. The Bible is the term we gave to The Word of God. If you choose to have an issue with that, it is your issue. Nobody said it is the totality, but I think we can agree it is the vast majority of Christian teaching. Also, I'd argue that everything that a Christian needs to know is found in the Bible, or in your case, The Word of God.
Show me where Jesus talked about Purgatory and Sacraments. I'm also certain he said no man goes to the Father but through Him, so there goes the prayers to the saints and Mary argument.
As I said earlier, here lies the problem. Instead of focusing on our agreements, we focus on our disagreements. Which make us easy targets for arguments against Christianity.
