First ones are “trendy” trashy names and the others are outdated/plain. There are many normal/biblical ones still popular

I will take any one of those names over Ladarius or Dontavius 7 days of the week.

I know a guy named Alabama. AND HIS PARENTS HAVE NO ASSOCIATION WITH THE STATE. NONE. THEY JUST LIKED THE NAME.

Dontavius doesn't sound a whole lot worse, tbh.

That name became popular in the late 1960's because of this guy:
Chad Everett, star of the TV series "Medical Center."

I can live with Jackson, that's a good southern name. It's been around for quite some time (100+ years)

As long as it isn't spelled with a stupid x in it.
Then the name becomes trashy.

Caden (and the 4 to 6 variations).
Brennan
Braden
Jackson/jaxon
Carson
Memphis
Darian
Ty
Cannon
Kyler
Kyson
Not a single one of those names was among the twenty most common given to male children in 2017 according to the SSA. (Jackson pops in at 20, but no Jaxon)

Bill
Bill (William) is the third most common male child's name. Matthew is 16th. Chris reached it's all time modern era low this year at 38. Robert (Bob) has never been lower than 65th.
But Caden has never been higher than 91st, 12 years ago. The name Darian for males has never even made the top 1000. In fact, many, if not most, of the names in the lower list are more common than the ones in the upper list.
Sounds like you just hang out with a lot of trashy people.

Seen this a lot. Hopefully they don't turn out like the Jaxon that was on my kids baseball team. Kid would stand there and watch the ball go by him

Love the gif.
I think it’s a pretty rockin name personally but I understand someone wanting a more conventional name. Actually now that I know her personality she doesn’t seem like a winter so maybe it’s for the best.
