She's not a smoke show so not intimidating to women. She's not gross, so guys are ok with her.

But shouldn't she be funny at least?

"That's why Ma&Ya's will now be filled with chewy, chunky clams. They're clam-derful."

Terrible.

She’s just reading what they put in the script.

She’s a non-polarizing person of color who will not be their spokesperson after the Super Bowl. Marketing, nothing more.

Well I never thought she was very funny in SNL, so maybe the pivot was more important than the message/writing.

They decided to add an alphabet color character and people rightfully mocked them continuously.. this caused them to dump the best long term campaign they’ve ever had bc people were to “mean and not inclusive”. Thus the idiotic move of her taking over as the main spokesman

The irony being that the animated M&M characters were several different colors. Natural diversity.

She seems like a good choice. She's got seemingly wide appeal. She's not a smoke show so not intimidating to women. She's not gross, so guys are ok with her.

The biggest issue with her is she’s a comedian yet she isn’t funny.
