We were talking to a couple at lunch the other day that moved here from Nashville for a better quality of life.

It’s not the size. Location and tax district. That dollar amount would be for a home $575,000-$750,000 range.

I know one thing, they def. took a lot of the bachelorette party vacationers from the Nola market around the time LaToya unleashed hell combined with her Covid BS.

I had an 1,100 sq ft condo in Chicago that I sold not that long ago for $380k and paid over $6k a year in property taxes, so that doesn’t seem outrageous.

I almost accepted a job there recently but decided to stay in Texas. The lower property taxes were tempting
Interesting, my property taxes in 2007 for a house in Houston worth 1/4 as much are the same as my house now in Brentwood. Stay out of Davidson county I guess.

It is crazy how many rock stars/musicians have left L.A. to move full time to Nashville in the last 10-15 years.

The change of government after responsible republicans started running the state a couple of decades ago. The Albert Gores and Ray Blantons of the state were put out.

Nashville sucks. It’ll be Atlanta in 5 years.

You can tell there's Nashville posters lurking in here.

Comparing it to Atlanta is a bit of an overstretch. It’s way too small to compare it to Atlanta which has a metro population of over 6 million people.
