Hard drugs do everyone in eventually. They completely frick your mind up. What kind of drugs was he doing?

I believe he did commit suicide, the broader reason(s) being depression due to having lived such a dynamic life earlier on, yes much of it stimulated by copious amounts of drugs, and as happens to us all the excitement of our youth fades away. He simply couldn't and wouldn't accept an older, more solitary and toned down version of himself compared to the highest of the highs he experienced previously.

His wife said he was on newer sleep medication and she didn't like how he was reacting to it when she spoke to him on the phone that night

He was working with Anthony Bourdain on building massive awareness of Child Sex Trafficking. Clintons hated Anthony and put heir “goons” on him - he tweeted about it before his “death"

Listen enough to his songs and you realize he’s contemplated it for years. Pretty Noose, etc...We’re blessed to have had him for so long. Also, it sounds like the Ativan that he was taking wasn’t appropriate for him. Apparently that’s not a good antidepressant for drug addicts? Any doctor can chime in and correct me on this please. Anyway, that MF was an amazing talent and I miss him every day. Drugs suck. Suicide sucks. Cornell’s death might as well have happened in 2020, because 2020 sucks too. Thanks for listening.

I know he used to have a pretty heavy heroin addiction along with alcohol. If I remember correctly, they found benzos in his system. (I could be thinking of someone different) But that would be consistent with his bizarre behavior and speech when he called his family shortly before ending his life.

It's not good for drug addicts because it's a benzos. Benzos are highly addictive and used for anxiety rather than as an antidepressant. Maybe they're used in conjunction with an AD but benzos for addicts are no bueno.
