DFW also has a ton of great blues festivals throughout the metroplex. There are some great restaurants and a microbrew explosion.

I think this gets downplayed a LOT. There is always something to do here 15-30 minutes away of where you live more times then not.

I'll fix it: Downtown and Uptown Dallas are a hell of a lot safer than Downtown and Uptown New Orleans.

Deep Elum and Lower Greenville are going through a really nice revitalization. A lot more younger folks hanging out in those areas.

Dallas, while it has its positives, it's without a doubt one of the ugliest big cities in America.

yeap to all of that

and Dallas still feels like any other BS concrete jungle in this country. Zero character, zero vibe zero feel. Just a zero.

So depends on if you want comforts or you want something real and not just built in the last 30 years

That's like saying you hate your grandmas gumbo (rest her soul).

I will never be able to mimic that recipe.

It's flat, very few green spaces, very few bodies of water. Just this sprawl of concrete, strip malls, and office complexes.

Its the worst.

I will say something nice about DFW, the women are nice...but usually the first question they ask you is "what church do you go to"

One could make a "culture" argument in favor of NOLA.

Does BR have anything on Fort Worth?

Lived in both. Prefer Nola but Dallas is great. These threads are retarded.

Ah Dallas... Home of strip malls and chain restaurants....

I'll say this though... Dallas has worse traffic than BR...
