Why can't folks correctly use 'woman' and 'women' in their writing?

This mistake is made as often as the misuse of 'could care less'.

I could care less, but that would require more effort.

I've seen "lose" and "loose" used incorrectly often lately.

You are a woman who doesn't like women.

The one that bothers me the most currently is that a lot of people use "John and I" no matter whether it is the subject or object of the sentence.

Again it goes back to people being stupid, but people rarely use me vs I correctly.

They could care less if they are dominate at spelling.

Most common grammar mistake I see is fricking up "its" vs. "it's." You screw that up you have immediately outed yourself as a rube.
