why are we Springing forward again?

I thought Louisiana was doing away with daylight savings time?
It is nice right now. Daylight about 6am and dark around 7pm and will continue to get later as we move to the summer months.

Its the opposite, states can do away with Daylight Saving Time(Arizona & Indiana have in the past), they can't do away with real time.

Even on standard time you can do this. It will get darker later no matter if we spring forward or not. Also we've had these amazing invention called lights, they work great

The more daylight in the afternoon, the better. Those who want it to get dark earlier than 9:00pm are probably fat and out of shape.
