I’m watching all these youtubers that do garage sale flipping and the won’t pass up a VCR. I just saw one guy buy a brand new, unopened, Sony VCR for $3, it sells for $600+ on eBay.
I understand the boom in some stuff, vinyl records for one, because of the quality sound.
But why VCR’s? Who wants a crappier quality screen?
Even I, the flipper, don’t get this.

Millennials who don’t really remember VCRs like to pretend they were a major part of their lives.

Probably Digital tracking..... people have content that may be illegal, so they go back to the old way of doing things.

Why watch a crappy quality VHS on a crappy VCR, when you can get it on DVD, BluRay, 4K, etc?

speaking of tracking ever rent Basic Instinct back in the day?

the Sharon Stone scene was always heavily screwed up because of the amount of times it got rewound.

They may have home movies or stuff they taped in the '80s.

Millenials were born from 1981 to 1996, so what do you think they grew up watching movies on? DVDs?

You’re watching youtube videos of people selling other people’s crap. Maybe don’t judge what they choose to buy.
