You should be happy most normal folks enjoy these places. They won't bother you while you are at your highfalutin super awesome vacation spots.

I'm with you, OP. But once you realize that you live in the south, which harbors a huge percentage of the nation's trashy people, your complaint becomes one of geographical proximity of trashy person to said vacation destination. Also, cruises are cheap af, which attracts your subject demographic.

Real ballers go to Port St. Joe or Appalachicola where there are no condos or creepy Watercolor/Seaside developments.

Cruises and Disney World are trashy as frick.
A lot of beaches in the Caribbean and Mexico are also trashy. You have to go to remote places to find great beaches with great people. You basically just have to spend a lot of money to get away from the Walmart crowd.
Go to Bora Bora or the Maldives and report back on the quality of people.
