What freedoms have you lost?

Twitter is the reason. All of these keyboard warriors never leave a thought unspoken. Twitter is the worst thing to happen to humanity in the past 20 years since 9/11

I named my cat Donald Trump because he’s orange. I thought it was clever. Dude at work was so offended he hasn’t spoken to me since. True story

Well for one, I was very young on 9/11. Although I remember it and it did scare me, it didn't impact me or my generation in the way I'm sure it impacted yours. You were probably thinking "holy frick, I have a flight next week." or "Wow, what if myself or a family member is in the next attack they execute."

As for the wars in the Middle East, they are not normal wars. The enemy is not bombarding us every day and although soldiers are dying, it is not happening as much as it was happening in a war like WWII or even Vietnam. The wars in the Middle East have been going on for years and years. People have become desensitized to it.

The best part is the people who are so sensitive and offended by sjw libs and unironically think they aren't being the exact same.

Well, thinking someone is an idiot and being offended by something are two different things....

The media and the left have pushed the idea that there is virtue in victimhood. It’s a central tenet of identity politics.

I think it’s mostly miserable people sitting around looking for something to be offended about. Social media broadcasts their insanity, and other miserable people and trolls jump on board.

Often traditional media and the press, as well as politicians, fall in line to seemingly give it legitimacy. In reality, most people don’t care.

Correct. I'm very clearly not talking about the former.

I'm talking about people like p&g with his made up shower story thread yesterday.

Or the NYC Easter in the 1950s where people got preoffended at the thought of that not happening in 2019.

That’s clever and funny AF.

The art of having a sense of humor is lost on many.

Because they got fooled into thinking other people care. Then, they shamed other people into caring. Some also capitalized on this, and monetized it

It does actually. Christians looked at the results of being a member of the Outrage Olympics and jumped in feet-first.

Again, you get more of what you subsidize. And in this country the bigger the victim, the more money, attention, and ultimately power.

I think it’s because today, there is social worth in being a victim. I think people are actually looking for things to be “victimized” by.

Debate please.
