For myself it's more about reminding myself how far i've come and how much better it is now. And it's a way to let people who might be in the middle of it now that it can get better, and does if you want it to get better.

It's indescribably strange but we can actually discuss this if you'd like. Maybe I can shed some light.

I'm going to call bullshite. Not saying you have never seen an AA person talk about their length of sobriety but most people keep it to themselves unless questioned about their sobriety.

I think you are straight up full of shite that sober people are so look at me. Total bullshite.
