Dr's say that the average person swallows 7 spiders a year in their sleep on average. Apparently the spiders are attracted to the moisture in your breath and they climb in. Spider related asphyxiation is a fairly common cause of death but coroners don't always catch it

It's the legs. They are mobile, unnatural, and unpredictable.

Imagine a spider without the legs. Or with little centipede legs under him. NOT SCARY.

See. Legs are scary. Without legs they would just look like a pile of caterpillars. Nbd.

But imagine a caterpillar with spider legs. :scream:

Being wary or scared of poisonous snakes is one thing, being scared of non-venomous snakes is another.

I have a fear of spiders because one little bite from certain spiders can cause you to lose an arm or leg if untreated. frick that.

Most of the time I can't even tell when a spider is on me.

It doesn't help that when I was little I had a wild tarantula lunge at me while I was cutting down a tree.

I had a huge banana spider on my neck heading to the deer stand one afternoon. It had been on their for a while, i thought it was a stick poking me in my neck. When i got off the ranger, i saw it crawling on my shoulder, and took everything in my body for me not to scream like a little girl.

I can deal with just about anything else, but spiders and scorpions.

Your deer stand is in Central or South America?

Probably because they ran into webs in the woods as kids and they freaked out. That still gives me the creeps
