Because attention seekers aren't bulimic, cutting, emo, or rebels anymore. Late millennial to now the "outcasts" are joining the LGBT+ community to rebel against norms, or feel special. Every generation had their act, this is theirs. Are there LGBT+ members who aren't an act? Yes. Is it almost 1/5 of Gen Z? Frick no.

I think environmental factors are causing hormonal imbalances in pregnant women. If the balances are particularly off in the stage of fetal development where sexual organs are encoded (if thats the right way to put it) then it causes permanent issues. I don’t know what is causing this, but I suspect processed foods and plastics could be negative contributing factors.

Then there's a lot of straight people that have something fundamentally wrong with them. I know numerous childless straight couples. They chose to have no children.

I do as well, and I do think they have something fundamentally wrong with them. If you actually choose to end your bloodline then something went fundamentally wrong somewhere. I don’t say that to be critical, I say it as a function of the reality that we must keep reproducing in order to exist into the future.
