Why are LSU commercials so bad

I mean good god. They've been embarrassing since I started 10 years ago. Amateur commercials that boil down to "come here because we have a football team"

I've met him. Die hard MState fan and a really genuine person. I talked to him a couple years ago at a tailgate and he recognized me the next time he saw me.

The whole commercial was just awkward/horrible. I can't believe whoever came up with it ran with it....and people actually agreed to participate in it.

Yep. None of them are really what one would call exceptional.
Now that it's been brought up, I do wonder if the schools give the project to their own communications departments instead of a pro ad agency. They all have that homemade vibe to them.
