Co-worker has the Lego Saturn V on display in his office. It is pretty damn cool. I think he paid $120 for the set. I'd pay that for the Saturn V.

Got my BiL the Saturn V for Christmas, snagged it on amazon for 75.

It looked like an awesome set, wish I could have helped him and my nephew put it together

Our sons are 42 and 44 YO. We purchased Leggo kits for them across their childhood. Other than the ones the vacuum cleaner ate, we still have all of them - a 24" X 14" X 18" wooden chest I made, nearly full. Our grandkids all played with them, with their fathers seated beside them ont he floor having fun also. Grand kids are too old now, so I guess some Great grandkid will get them eventually. The wife and I have discussed dividing them half and half and putting the problem of who gets the Leggo bricks into our Sons' laps.

We have purchased multiple sets for the grandkids over the last 18 years. I assume the grandkids all have their sets, too.

As many have said here, they never wear out. The oldest ones we have still hurt just as much when you step barefooted on one as when they were fresh out of the box new.

The lego technic sets are badass. I hope my kids love legos as they get older as much as I did when I was a kid. I want to get some sets now but theyre still too young and would just wind up losing the pieces.

Who gets to decide that stuff? It seems like legi would be better. But I don't have a doctorate in english from some fancy liberal arts college so I guess it don't matter what I think.

A. Pluralizing by adding “I” would probably be Latin, not English.

B. LEGO comes from Denmark so having a doctorate in danish from some fancy liberal arts college would probably be a lot more useful.

I miss the good old days when Legos didn’t come with instructions. You just got a box of pieces and used your imagination to one day build a battleship, the next day a fort, or whatever. Legos use to teach kids to think and use their imagination. Now they just teach them to follow instructions.
