Starting to feel like it, where’s the return tag?

Sheesh...I feel bad now. I was just joking.

I guess it just breaks down to, some people find bawdy, low brow humor funny, and some people just frown and shake their heads at it.

And it’s even funnier when those people fart.

Maybe (even as a kid) - you're way too serious and need to lighten up.

Farts are hilarious.

Nah, got a great sense of humor which is why farts were never funny. Some think high, others low.

Oh you sweet, sweet summer child. How I envy the flower of your youth, doomed to fade like paint in the sun.

One day you too will have old lady farts, the kind that just muffle and shuffle out without much fanfare but to deadly effect.

You’ll lift your knees and hit your nipples.

Time spares none.

This was beautiful.

As I'm reading this thread, my 1st grade son (home sick) walked up to me and stared at me blankly for 30 seconds. I said "what?!" He says "I farted" and then he ran away.

See, it surprises me that you have this attitude. Sure, farts have very little nuance, but their timelessness and physical humor is what gets me. Kind of like someone walking into a pole or completely wiping out.

It’s the universal nature of it that I am intrigued by. You could have a room full of people from every different language and culture in a room, no one able to understand each other, and a particularly funny fart could make the whole room titter.

No, it isn’t biting satire or witty wordcraft, but it’s got a quality all its own.

I have never heard my wife fart, nor have I smelled it if she ever silently farted. Out of respect, I don't fart near her.

Air enters the vagina. When it exits, that's the sounds you're hearing.

Why?

Some people are just turned off by bathroom humor.
I've also got an aversion to bad smells and BO which might have something to do with it

Maybe it's generational. I grew up in a working class neighborhood but we never told "fart jokes"

I've got grown coworkers in their 40s who laugh and share these elementary fart memes and it's just not something that gives me the same reaction.

I generally don't like irreverent jokes about the recently deceased either

90% of my humor is sarcasm, not jokes or memes.

I don’t know...I just figured you’d have some funny Alaskan story about farting grizzlies or Eskimos passing gas in an igloo and not being able to escape.

She's much more inclined to do certain things if I haven't fogged up her memory with shite particles.

Falling down is actually a good answer, but I think people fart more frequently than they fall down. I think I’m sticking with the farts!

Falling down is not nearly as funny.

You complain my threads are too long and you post this shite (no pun)?

Honestly, I don't think they are funny. It's not that I "take life too serious" or that I am a "stick in the mud". I like to joke around, laugh and make other people laugh with the best of them, but I just don't think "fart humor" is funny.

It's a bodily function and it's just not funny to me. With that said, there are certain situations that I might laugh at if I see happen. I think it's funny when someone all of a sudden takes a whiff of a bad smell they didn't expect.. But that would be funny if it came from someone ripping one or from something else.

If someone smells a fart smell and they think it came from someone specific and they are blaming them and that person gets mad.. That is a situation I would laugh at, but just hearing someone blow arse just isn't funny to me.

Strangely, I don’t find nut shots that funny. Just makes me instinctively protect my balls
