A girl i worked with a few years ago had a charger with the hemi. She was getting off the interstate and the engine threw a rod. I tihink it had less than 30,000 Miles on it so it was under warranty. She said the dealership
Was not willing to fix it and Chrysler said it was abused. Yea ok ...it was eventually fixed.

I over heard a guy at my daughters soccer match say his wife had just bought a Chrysler van because she had to have it. After she signed the papers, with 12 Miles on it the transmission was gone on the way home from the dealership. They managed to return it and now she has a Honda van.

You realize that the emissions stuff has a 100k warranty, right? Should've brought it to the dealership. I got mine, and am exhaust manifold replaced for free at like 85k

Have a '94 Ram I use a couple dozen times a year. Starts real easy every time. I've had it about 10 years, and will probably keep it 10 more. The interior is rough, but I couldn't care less about that. Has the NV-4500 5-Speed manual that I really like.

The Dodge trucks we have at work in the plant have been good trucks. Now these are single cab V6’s. They hold up as well as the Fords and Chevy’s.

Poor gas mileage is the reason I did not get one. I came from Dodge that went 180k miles without a major issue. But I get 20 mpg in my Ford F-150.

Probably weird bc you’re so accustomed to Chevy. I’ve had Chevy, Ford, and now a Toyota and they’ve all felt different.

When I go from my Tundra to my dads 2018 Silverado, it feels weird. The seat feels low and the steering feels loose and imprecise, like steering a boat.

Has ford fixed the problems that the 10 and 11 generations had (1997-2008) where after a while the become the noisiest pieces of shite on the road? Every one I see on the road you can hear the rattling before you can see the truck, kind of turned me off on ford. Hope it’s fixed because I like the way the 13th gen looks

the '90's up till about at least 2010

It was thru 2008. In 09 they changed basically everything about the truck. Great interior, probably the best suspension of any pickup, much improved transmission, etc.

Nope, truth. I worked at a dealer that sold GMC and Ram. All the Ram techs drove GMC.

This is anecdotal. How does Chrysler techs driving GM = blown hemis littering the service area? It doesn’t. Also, you cannot say with 100% certainly the techs drove GM because they feel they are more reliable, many more factors go into purchasing a vehicle. And an additional note: most service techs aren’t driving brand new trucks. It’s not exactly a high paying job.
