California is a beautiful state...coastline, mountains, desert, snow, beautiful women, great weather, cleaner, etc etc. If my businesss weren’t located here I’d move there in a heartbeat. Why all the hate?

Go spend some time with the people. As far as I am concerned, SoCal can fall off into the ocean. NoCal is beautiful

They aren't ruining things on a national level like those from California.

Most people who hate California are poor and/or uneducated.

Much of California is just about the most prime real estate in the entire world - better fit for human habitation than just about anywhere else in terms of climate, agronomic properties, and beauty. It's a terrible fricking shame that it's run by morons and degenerates.

The home prices and the cost of living are the only things I hate. I had to pull out of a 2nd interview for a job that paid $75k/year in L.A. The taxes and rent prices made it impossible for me to even consider it with a family. $75k/year is higher than the average family household income across the country. My wife is a teacher and if she got a job immediately, we would have had a combined income of ~$125k/year. That would have been MAYBE lower middle class unless I wanted to commute over an hour each way every day.

So after that, I started hating California.

A buddy of mine was recently discussing an anniversary trip for he and his wife...I suggested California. Response: “I’m not gonna go spend a week out there with those crazy frickin liberals” No? But you’ll go spend a weekend a month in New Orleans? Give places a chance, people. You don’t have to associate with anyone you don’t want to associate with.

The state is actually incredible, the people not so much. They are a hypocritical do as I say not as I do bunch. They do not believe in the rule of law. This is not everyone but the most vocal.
