I find it odd that now all of a sudden all these “essential” businesses that never closed and never had a line to get in now out of nowhere are limiting ppl coming in. Makes no sense. I’m so over this shite. 50 ppl in line to get in homedepot. With maybe a ft between each.

Because they only started limiting how many could be in the store a month ago

Makes no sense

We have had a line with a counter at the front door regulating traffic and making sure everyone has a face mask on at every single store for 11+ weeks now. So not sure what you are talking about

Go on a weekday evening. It is still spring and everyone is trying to go on the weekend to those places. Add corona on top if it, and it is 10 times worse.

People who were terrified of the virus finally got government approval to feel safer in public.

Customers are not required to wear masks in HD or Lowe's in Baton Rouge. I have been in these stores everyday since this has started and don't know of any employee that has tested positive ( I'm required to ask).

They were always packed but NEVER a line. Monday’s Saturday Sunday didn’t matter. Never a line.

But that’s because of all the AIDS there.

This is definitely true. This whole thing is a super interesting case study in how a large percentage of people will blindly follow what the government and national media are telling them, including in how to think. “Yesterday I was scared to death and admonishing people for going out, but Fauci said things should re-open so today everything is safe and fine.”

Where I am, the increased lines at Home Depot / Lowes etc are due to more residential contractors getting back to fuller crews and going back to jobs that were halted during the lockdowns.

Same thing happened here. Just now tried to go to Home Depot and it was packed. But last night I drove by there around 11 PM and it looked like a ghost town.

Yea man I get it, but I’ve been to hd and Lowe’s at least 30 times over the lockdown doing my own projects and NEVER has there been a line and it’s ALWAYS packed.

I asked someone that question today. The inability to answer with anything other than a canned cliche seems to be the only proper response from this crowd.

I live in TX and we've had counters at most businesses for some time now. Masks aren't required except for a few places that made that decision on their own though.
