but I looked at a Ford Raptor last weekend. It gets 9 in the city and a whopping 12 on the highway. That made me stop and think.
read posts on their forum, they get around 11 city and 14 highway. and that not much worse than normal trucks on the road.

I have a couple of vehicles that are sub 20, both in the 16-18 range.

No. I'm not poor. Unless I literally pumped gas into my truck, then yes I would cringe.

I said earlier I get 14.1 all highway though. Lots of steep hills too. I don't have a crew cab though so its lighter and I only have a 24gal tank as opposed to a 36 gal tank

Just bought a new Silverado back in February. I get about 16 in the city. I've haven't really been on a long trip yet. Will be driving it to Florida this week and look forward to seeing how it does on the highway.

Take every car off the road in the US and it would barely make a dent in global pollution. That should give you perspective

F250 7.3 liter. I was on 1/4 of a tank and it took 78.00 to fill it back up. Get about 12-13 MPG

BUUUUUTTTTTTT it's paid for

Well, pollution is one aspect...

Automobiles aren't even that big an issue, as I mentioned in my post. But, hey, with that attitude, why not throw just one more piece of trash out the window. What's one more, right?

Mercedes M Class - the SUV. It's more like gallons per mile than miles per gallon.

Used to be 11.5mpg in my diesel truck. After few mods and some 70mph interstate cruising, it is 24mpg. I get pissed every time I fill up, but am also glad I can go 700 miles on one tank

Love it. Not one issue. It has some pickup in it for a large SUV, too. My only issue is with the Bluetooth connection when both my husband and I am in the car. Car doesn't know what to do then and you can only make changes to Bluetooth while the car is in park.

ETA: getting 14.8/mpg
