Here’s the thing, Salties typically will bite the head if they’re in range so if the saltie grabs it by the head the Komodo is done. Better question... is there anywhere in the world where Komodos and Salties share the same habitat?

I mean full size Komodos are like 200 lbs

I ASSumed they were much bigger than that tbh. I should have googled about their size first. I think a adult male Komodo would put up a decent fight outside of the water though.

Komodos can only survive where there are no large warm-blooded predators. Isolated islands, and such. Saltwater crocs can swim for long distances.
I would imagine there are some islands where there are both.

Does the Komodo bite pierce the crocs skin? If so, the dragon. More mobile and that bite is lethal.

If he had trouble piercing it’s skin, the gator, as eventually he’ll land a good bite on the faster Komodo.

dragons cant bite thru crocodile hide.

if it's meat, they will attack it. Komodo dragons have been known to eat human beings.

That would actually be pretty cool to watch.. I mean, it would be a tragedy an all, but if it happened and there was nothing that could be done about it.. It would be pretty cool to watch.

I didn't think about that part when I made the thread. I was basing it off how mean they look. I'm hoping someone can answer that question

Komodo wouldn’t pierce the skin of a croc.

Yeah, that's actually pretty disappointing. I kinda regret my thread, live and learn.

Croc in the short term but the bacteria from the Komodo dragon bite will eventually take down the croc. In the end, both die.

A Komodo couldn’t get through the crocs skin.

Croc is whatever avg size adult male is. In a 25x25 cage, no water. I feel the croc wins.

If the dragon was fully grown and the croc was equal length, the croc wins every time.

Well, the dragon can breathe fire, so that's a huge advantage.

That’s like asking who wins in a fight between a lion and a cheetah, or a wolf and a coyote. It wouldn’t even be close. The komodo has zero chance.

I think they frick. That’s what I would do left in a cage with no water. Does the dragon have big tits?

A Komodo dragon couldn't bite through a croc's skin I wouldn't think. They're bigger stronger and just as fast. With a much stronger bite and bigger teeth.

Croc by a landslide.
