Why else would the walker be videoing the incident? This was probably a circular path and neither idiot would yield and it built up to this.

That might actually be a path where you're supposed to stay on one side if you're walking.

That is the case in many bike / pedestrian walkways. Cyclists ride on the right and pedestrians stay to the left. But even if that was the case here, they were both on the wrong side and cyclist always yields to pedestrians anyway.

It's called the cyclist was on the wrong side, could have corrected and got on the correct side, was told that the person who was in the correct place wasn't moving and continued to drive on the wrong side into the correctly aligned person.

It shouldn't be a game of chicken

No doubt cyclist. Cyclists must follow the rules of the road as if they are a vehicle. Albeit, they are not on a road, but rules of the road should be followed on a path as well. We are living in a society here.

Sounds like you're saying she shouldn't have been on the sidewalk on a bike she couldn't control.

Or she should have been on the correct side of the sidewalk and/or yielded to the pedestrian with those 2 dogs she couldn't control.

The Walker was a count, even called it early, “I’m not moving!”

The cyclist was worse for multiple reasons.

That the cyclist didn't give to the walker.

Pedestrian - while in the right, could have done better to not be a total dipshit and stepped aside

It's one of those situations where, sure, it was an arse hole move.

But it was an arse hole move I wholeheartedly support and applaud.

Dumbass for letting a slow moving bike run into them: Pedestrian

Looks like it wasn't the pedestrian that got the worst of that impact

100% cyclist is in the wrong.

I bike commute and know that cyclists get a lot of undeserved hate just for biking.

But this person is a fricking count. They deserved that crash and more

I would think the cyclist, since he was on the wrong side of the pathway, and pedestrians should have the right of way.

We were standing in formation at FT Lewis, WA one morning and a cyclist solder (Permanent staff guy, supposedly going to work for the day) was coming down the main road and ran right through our formation. He was going flat out, while looking at the ground, peddling like crazy when he hit us. Sent three guys to the hospital mostly for stitches and minor abrasions, bruises, etc.

I think they court martialed him. At the time, the joke was for destruction of Government property.

The pedestrian was following the rules of the road. The other cyclists passed on the left.

What gives the dog cycling lesbo the right to hog the road and why does the pedestrian be expected to step off the road into the sand just to give right away to an a-hole bitch biker and her 2 dogs?

Some people are just idiots on bikes. I was walking in Gulf State Park last year and this dumb old bitch on a bike came up behind me, and didn't ring her bell until she was about 10 feet from me. I had to jump out of the way, else she was just going to hit me. I thought "do you think that your old ragged arse wouldn't get the worst of that situation had you ran into me?"
