LINK

A draft of WHO’s 11th update of International Classification of Diseases characterizes the disorder as “recurrent” gaming behavior manifested by “impaired control over gaming,” “increasing priority given to gaming,” and “escalation of gaming despite the occurrence of negative consequences.”

guess all of our negative behaviors will eventually be recognized as medical disorders that are beyond our control ... one day murder will be legally excused ...

I play video games, but I get sick of it after an hour or two. I have no idea how some people play all day everyday.

Does this mean I can demand gaming during work hours as an accommodation under the ADA?

You can “win” in gaming and get virtual prizes. I don’t game but I can see how people get addicted to it.

My sister is staying at my house. She was watching "Adam ruins everything" had a segment about slot machines.

It really is crazy all the shite they do to keep you playing.

They used to institutionalize people for chronic masturbation. Sometimes for their entire lives.
