I've recently been watching the Velocity channel a lot. There are several shows that have restored old Datsun 280Zs.

I always loved those cars, it's got me thinking about trying to find one that doesn't need too much work.

Either that, or a 80's model RX7.

Nice '65. My huge regret in life is selling my '67 conv when I got a new car for college.
I bet that thing is still nice. Only big change I made was disc brakes.

I used to have a Porsche 944S2 for tooling around town. Got rid of it a few years ago. I'm too old to get in and out of a car that sits 4 inches off of the ground now.

You essentially bought the roof rack setup and the car came with it.

I've got an 1986 CJ7 that pretty fun. I've been teaching the kid to drive a stick in it this week.

Helped my Dad build this 52 MGTD replica on a 69 VW Beetle chassis in 1981. It had been parked and covered in his shop from the mid 90s until a few years ago when I uncovered it and brought it back to life.

bought this for my wife and its a damn fun car! easy to work on, and i worry when my wife is driving it around without me because she's smoking hot and everyone tries to stop and offer money to buy the car.

i saw trailer to new mission impossible at infinity war and 90% of the trailer was focused on a green e30 he's driving. guessing that will pique interest.

and yeah i've invested so much knowledge into maintaining this thing that if it died i would probably pick up another one.

wish the m3 model wasn't so outrageously expensive. the hell i'm going to pay 30k for a car that uses cardboard for interior trim.

I really like those too, but with the diesel, I hope you aren’t planning on going anywhere in a hurry.

52 MGTD replica

Have one sitting in my mom’s garage. Dad built it a few years before he passed. It’s on a ‘61 VW chassis. Needs a lot of work and I don’t live close by.

They're fun cars that'll hold their value. If it dies put a s50 in it.
